David J. Guilford
President

Dave Guilford is the founding member of the firm's senior management group. In addition to serving as President, Mr. Guilford is actively involved in client management and primary search work on behalf of a broad client base.

Prior to founding DLG Associates, Mr. Guilford served as Co-Managing Partner of Sanford Rose Associates-Charlotte, a multifaceted national search firm.

Before entering the search profession, Mr. Guilford was Executive Vice President of Barclays American Mortgage Corporation. As one of the company's start-up management team members, he played a significant role in directing its growth to one of the nation's top ten largest mortgage banking companies. His twenty-year career in financial services included management positions with Wachovia and RBC Centura.

Mr. Guilford holds Batchelor or Arts and Master of Business Administration degrees from East Carolina University. He is a member of The Appraisal Institute, holding the MAI designation, and is a North Carolina licensed real estate broker. Mr. Guilford is also a member of the Board of Directors of American Community Bank where he serves as a member of the Executive Committee of the Board, Chairman of the Directors Loan Committee, and as a senior human resources consultant to the Bank's executive management group.

W. Kenneth Goodson, Jr.
Executive Vice President

Ken Goodson is Executive Vice President of DLG Associates. Mr. Goodson is a member of the firm's senior management team and is also involved in business development, client management and primary recruiting.

Prior to joining DLG Associates, Mr. Goodson's corporate career spanned some twenty-five years, including sales and management positions with a number of highly regarded financial services companies. His mortgage banking experience encompassed senior management positions in secondary marketing and loan production. While in the mortgage insurance industry, he held a variety of senior level sales and whole loan/servicing trading positions. His mortgage lending experience began with a part-time job while earning a Bachelor of Arts degree at Pfeiffer University.

Mr. Goodson's national exposure and broad base of management experience are valuable assets in his executive search practice that spans all areas of mortgage banking, many areas of commercial banking, technology, e-commerce, and other areas of the financial services industry.
